Summer Immersion

10:00 am PST – 1:30 pm Saturday, July 9th – Summer Immersion – This is the first meeting of a 4+1-week course on Logic, Boolean Algebra, Topological Algebra and Nonclassical Logic with a view toward constructing Logic-Algebra in Graphs (Lattices) and a Nodal Logic in the manner of Lacan. Will be facilitated by Ali-Shojaei Fard and Robert-Scully. Though no previous experience or technical background is required, willingness to ask questions and persevere is necessary. This is a 4-week course meeting every Saturday. Tuition: $200. Since participation is limited to 10, please register at PLACE@topoi.netin advance to guarantee a place. Four texts can be referenced as an introduction: Quine’s Methods of Logic, Halmos’s Algebraic Logic, and Lacan’s Logic of the Fantasm-Positions of the Unconscious.
