Fall 2014 Bulletin – Registration, Vectorization, and General Assembly Results

PLACE BULLETIN – 2014 FALL SEMESTER for the SCLINIC ========================================================= 1)REGISTRATION – Fall 2014 Registration Open until the 15th of Sept. First time applicants will find the necessary information and submission form on the website at:http://www.topoi.net/about. Late registration until the 20th. 2)CARTELS – Fall 2014 Choice of Cartels (Vectorization) is now open: those who have already enrolled, please send at most three cartel topics to the secretary at:PLACE@topoi.net. You will receive follow up information on how to complete the process through out Sept. The first Fall cartels are scheduled to begin in the first and second weeks of October. The two cartels last semester were: Reading Benveniste's Middle Voice and the Logic of the Fantasy. If you care to continue or reformulate either one of these, please note this in you choice of topics. 3)LANGUAGE COURSE – The language class will not be offered as a course this year, but will be suggested as a cartel. If you are interested in either French or German, please include one of these languages in your choice of three topics. 4)2014 FALL COURSE – The First Fall Course, OEDIPUS CONSTRUCTED will begin at 11:00am - 1:00pm on Sept. 27th, and will meet in Santa Monica once per month on the last Saturday of every month till Nov.The last course of the Fall semester is scheduled to meet on Dec.20.  The winter semester begins the end of January.Instructor: R.T. Groome. Those participating in the course will receive an original manual on enrollment and a list of preliminary questions pertaining to the course. 5)GENERAL ASSEMBLY – The Minutes of the 2014 Fall General Assembly will be shortly sent out in a separate bulletin to all those who attended.
