Summer Immersion: Symbolic Incompleteness, from Gödel-Tarski to Lacan – Guest Speaker Giuseppe Longo
Begins July 4 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm PST by Zoom
To accomplish this goal, the Immersion often invites people who are noted in their respective fields to present their work to a ‘lay audience’, not as an act of vulgarization, but to raise questions and problems that may not have arisen in their intended applications.

The Summer Immersion is scheduled to meet every Saturday for four weeks. Some Sundays may be included depending on the motivation and time of those working in the Immersion. Beginning the first weekend of July and ending the last weekend.
The Immersion is open to anyone with no prior background or experience, just a certain persistence in working with others to clarify a reading and writing. All texts, both original and published, will be provided online.
If you care to register, please do so early since the Immersion is limited to 15 people. The event will be held on Zoom with a donation welcome ($60.00 recommended, covering all four days), but anyone with a financial hardship can receive a pass.
